The Family Medicine Physician plays a vital role in promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients of all ages, from children aged 5 to seniors. These specialists are trained to care for the whole person, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health issues. At Kelsey-Seybold, family practitioners serve as essential coordinators of care, collaborating with specialty physicians and other team members for a seamless healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients in an outpatient setting Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, including new patients and corporate physicals.
• Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group, with on-call duties approximately once a month, either on a weekday or shared weekend day. On-call responsibilities include managing phone inquiries from patients of fellow physicians in the group.
• Conduct annual physicals and wellness exams.
• Focus on preventive medicine practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD, DO)
• Completion of accredited Family Medicine Residency training
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Compensation for this specialty typically ranges from $226,000 to $366,000, including base pay and bonuses based on various factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience, with potential for growth tied to productivity and performance. We adhere to all minimum wage laws where applicable.
