Hybrid Adult/Pediatric Urologist
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Urology seek a hybrid Adult/Pediatric Urologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia and Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Additionally, travel may be required to other outreach clinics to facilitate practice growth and fulfill our mission to our communities and beyond.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of both Adult and Pediatric Urology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. The successful candidate must have completed a Urology residency program, as well as a Pediatric Urology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Urology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Steven Campbell, MD, PhD, came to WVU from the Cleveland Clinic, where he served as a board-certified urologist, vice chair of Urology, residency program director, and professor of Surgery. For the past 20 years, he led the largest urology residency training program in the United States and was central to the Urologic Oncology Fellowship Program.
Dr. Campbell's primary interests include renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and resident education. He's a nationally renowned expert in the field, authoring more than 400 papers and serving as the lead author of the American Urological Association's Guidelines for the Management of Kidney Cancer.
Campbell has treated a multitude of patients with all types of genitourinary cancer tumors in his 30+ year career in the field.
Before joining the Cleveland Clinic, he served as co-director of Urologic Oncology at Loyola University Medical Center; chief of the Urology service at Hines Veterans Affairs Hospital in Maywood, Illinois; and co-director of the Division of Urological Oncology at Northwestern.
After completing his urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, he completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He obtained a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Chicago, where he earned his MD and bachelor's degrees.
