Facility Maintenance Manager

The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and directing maintenance personnel to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. This role involves improving and maintaining security systems, including managing a key and lock program, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and determining facility equipment maintenance needs. The manager will also oversee the management of storage for materials and equipment, supervise employees, manage department budgets, and develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and direct maintenance personnel.
• Improve and maintain security, including a key and lock program.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Prioritize tasks, set work standards, and inspect work.
• Determine facility equipment maintenance needs.
• Manage storage of materials and equipment.
• Supervise employees, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding/disciplining, and addressing complaints.
• Manage department budgets.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Contract and coordinate vendor work.
• Order supplies, materials, and equipment.

Essential Skills:

• Preventive maintenance
• Mechanical skills
• Maintenance management
• Supervision and repair
• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 2+ years of leadership, management, or supervision experience
• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and boiler systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to perform hands-on maintenance work if needed
• Ability to attend staff and management meetings, as well as building and grounds committee meetings

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of West Bend, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Pension - 1 year probationary period, vested after 5 years

Paid time off - negotiable

Health insurance - 85% premiums paid for individual, 70% paid for family

This is a fully onsite position in West Bend, WI.
