Position: Facility Maintenance Attendant

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Hours: Mon-Fri (3pm-11:30pm)

Location: 4075 Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct janitorial and cleaning duties within designated areas to uphold quality standards and safety protocols.
• Utilize protective gear during all cleaning processes.
• Complete all cleaning assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Notify supervisors of equipment and cleaning supply needs or issues.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in various spaces, including classrooms and common areas.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and communal spaces.
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash as assigned.
• Respond quickly to alerts and requests from staff and management.
• Implement infection control measures and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience, especially in a school environment preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently and reliably.
• Must be able to operate independently after receiving training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential.
• Capability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around food and cleaning agents.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as mandated by applicable regulations.
• A criminal background check is required.
