Fabricator/Assembler

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Assembler to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves working in a dynamic and growing environment, where you will contribute to the assembly and fabrication of metal products.

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer systems to track production orders efficiently.
• Measure and mark steel accurately for machine operations.
• Read and interpret production documents to ensure accuracy in assembly.
• Operate drill presses and saws safely and effectively.
• Perform mechanical assembly using both hand and power tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and production documents.
• Experience with tape measures for precise measurements.
• Skill in operating drill presses and saws.
• Mechanical assembly and fabrication expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with machine operation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
