Extrusion Operator

We are seeking skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our team, with pay ranging from $18-$22 per hour based on experience. This role requires flexibility to work on various shifts: 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm-11:30pm with a 10% differential, and 3rd shift from 11pm-7:30am with a 15% differential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and break down products on equipment.
• Read and properly fill out required paperwork.
• Input data into the SAP system.
• Monitor and inspect product for conformance to specifications and ensure product is free of defects.
• Follow ISO documentation to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Collaborate with others in and out of the department to ensure smooth production processes.
• Prepare product for transfer to other departments as necessary.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment.
• Contribute to Total Quality Management System (TQM) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
• Work with management on future processes including ISO and lean manufacturing.

Essential Skills

• Ability to train on first shift.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Experience in extrusion is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Grafton, Massachusetts.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
