Job Description

AECOM has an immediate need for an Estimator to work on several projects, primarily related to our Building and Places practice. This is a full-time position for employment in our Kansas City, MO office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Introduced to the Company's estimating systems and processes.

• Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts, and principles for preparing estimates.

• Exposed to various processes, project actions, and assumptions that may impact estimates.

• Gathers, calculates, and compiles data for use in developing all types of estimates.

• Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments.

• Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required.

• Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, published and internal data used in preparing estimates.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MCACES/MII is a plus.

• Knowledge of Success Estimator is a plus.

• Knowledge of Revit and Excel.

• Knowledge of On-Screen-Takeoff or Construct Connect is a plus.

• Experience with construction management means, methods, and sequences.

• Experience with Estimating or Quantity Surveying.

• Experience with the interpretation of drawings, specifications, Requests for Proposals, and contracts is essential.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $28.00/hour - $34.00/hour.
