Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for manufacturing component parts and assemblies. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to outline materials needed to efficiently move a job through the shop.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Outline and determine materials necessary for manufacturing processes.
• Engage in consultations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Participate in daily customer interactions to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in welding products.
• Proficiency in creating quotes and estimates.
• Strong client interaction and communication skills.
• Knowledge of steel and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with welding symbols is advantageous.
• Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with welding, mechanical, and blueprint reading is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
