Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

As the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will be managing and implementing site EHS policies and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will also be overseeing EHS programs across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with IQVIA Laboratories Corporate/Global EHS programs and applicable regulations.

What you'll be doing:

  Overseeing EHS programs at business unit level for one or multiple sites to ensure compliance with IQVIA Laboratories Corporate EHS policies and regulatory obligations (e.g., US OSHA, UK HSE).

  Ensuring corrective actions are implemented and documented in response to audits and reviews.

• n

  Maintaining site compliance calendar and verify timely completion of recurring compliance actions.

• n

  Training large groups on safety procedures and governing environmental laws.

  n

• n

  Conducting or coordinating internal site risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and assess risks.

• n

  Assisting teams with development and assignment of appropriate CAPAs.

  n
n
• n

  Ensuring adequate management and training of EHS resources within the business.

  n
n
• n

  Champion site EHS Committee implementation and support the Committee Chairperson.

n

What We Are Looking For:

n
• n

  Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

  n
n
• n

  2-3 years relevant experience in a site EHS Role.

  n
n
• n

  EHS experience in a laboratory environment.

  n
n
• n

  Working regulatory knowledge of environmental and safety laws within multiple jurisdictions.

  n
n
• n

  Certified Safety Professional and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (or equivalent certification) or eligible for certification.

  n
n
• n

  Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

  n
n
• n

  Hands on experience in wastewater permitting, hazardous waste operations and other environmental and safety laws within California.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,100.00 - $106,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
