Job Description:

Engineering Design/Development

-Under light supervision, creates basic to moderate complexity water and waste water treatment facilities designs.

-Work on projects involving lead service line rehabilitation, PFAS and water reclamation facilities.

-Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.

Site Reviews

-Performs site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications.

-Updates design requirements as necessary. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.

-3 years of related experience.

-Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

-Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities:

-Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.

-Solid knowledge of engineer principles of design.

-Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).

-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Pay Range Minimum:

$74,485

Pay Range Maximum:

$122,907

Additional Compensation:

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.

Work Location Options:

Hybrid Work Options may be considered for successful candidate.
