Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team to support one of San Fernando Valley's leading healthcare organizations. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on back office medical assisting duties.   Ability to work 8:00am–5:00pm

  Some medical experience preferred

  Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

  Coordinates patient care and flow

  n

• n

  Prepares patients for examination and treatment

  n
n
• n

  Takes and records vital signs

  n
n
• n

  Assists providers with procedures and exams

  n
n
• n

  Administers medications and injections as directed

  n
n
• n

  Collects and processes lab specimens

  n
n
• n

  Ensures that e-prescribing tasks and all assigned tasks in EHR are completed in a timely and accurate manner

  n
n
• n

  Maintains EHR records accurately following policies and procedures

  n
n
• n

  Completes tasks in case management system on a daily basis

  n
n

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The clinic provides a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
