Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design and drafting.
Understanding of design specifications, dimensioning, and documentation standards.
Experience supporting prototype fabrication, design testing, and feasibility studies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Familiarity with mechanical engineering fundamentals such as thermal analysis, hardware design, and product development.
Strong organizational and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience with SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, or other FEA/thermal analysis tools.
Hands-on experience in prototyping and iterative product development.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to moderately complex engineering projects independently.
Familiarity with project management tools and principles, especially in product development settings.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) best practices.
Exposure to hardware design in regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical).
Ability to apply engineering standards and industry best practices in documentation and design.
