What you'll be doing:

• Handling SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, and microbial cultures with care and precision.
• Producing high-quality antigens and reagents that fuel our research and manufacturing efforts.
• Preparing media, buffers, and solutions using industry-standard techniques.
• Maintaining detailed documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
• Supporting lab safety and cleanliness through routine housekeeping and equipment prep.

What you bring:

• A strong interest in biology, microbiology, or lab workwhether from school, personal projects, or previous experience.
• Familiarity with lab environments or cleanrooms is a plus.
• Comfort with PPE and aseptic techniques.
• Basic lab skills like pipetting, working under fume hoods, and using autoclaves.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required; 12 years of related experience or training is preferred, but we welcome candidates with equivalent education and enthusiasm.

Work environment & physical requirements:

• Regular standing, walking, sitting, and fine motor tasks like pipetting and microscope work.

This is a fully onsite role based in Windham, CT.

Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
