Entry-Level Buyer

Position Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic full-time Buyers who blend creativity with analytical skills, able to spot current trends and positively impact our bottom line. Buyers will work primarily in an office setting, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel as needed. This role requires collaboration with fellow Buyers, Design Teams, and Vendors. • Identify and evaluate potential manufacturers and vendors.
• Effectively communicate product requirements.
• Share important updates with relevant teams.
• Develop product collections through collaboration with other buyers.
• Oversee product development from initial concept to purchase order.
• Analyze vendor performance to enhance profitability.
• Meet and exceed financial goals set by management.
• Create and suggest innovative and exciting new product concepts.
• Possible domestic and/or international travel to collaborate with vendors on sourcing new products.

Qualifications:

• Adept at gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
• Strong problem-solving skills using logic and creativity.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude, capable of working independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and manage stairs at trade shows or factory visits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word.
• Competence in Microsoft Outlook.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, merchandising, or marketing preferred, or
• Relevant experience in a retail buying capacity, or
• A combination of education and experience totaling 5+ years.
