In our one-on-one ABA setting, you'll work directly with children (18 months to 8 years) using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. What You'll Be Doing as a Behavior Therapist

• Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, and using feedback from supervisors to improve care.
• Encourage child development for early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance treatment effectiveness and create a joyful workplace environment.
• Interact with children through playful activities, energetic movement, and engaging routines. This could involve running, dancing, singing, reading together, or playing with toys—maintaining high energy and enthusiasm to foster a positive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with families, peers, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for children's needs.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, which includes lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to ensure safety and engagement.
• Maintain a therapy-friendly environment by ensuring play areas are tidy, organized, and creating a fun experience for children.
• Multitask and prioritize effectively while managing multiple actions, decisions, or conversations in the moment.
• Support our team by working collaboratively across the center, neighborhood, and region. Occasional travel to nearby centers may be required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by finishing a 40-hour training curriculum, a hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the board's exam.

Competitive Pay Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $16.00 - $24.00
• Bachelor's: $20.00 - $25.50
• Master's: $22.00 - $27.00

For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon RBT certification, usually within 21 days.

Experience in these fields is a plus!

• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
• Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields (any degree preferred)
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants
• Passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Eagerness to join a caring, team-oriented culture
