In our 1:1 ABA settings, you will work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, utilizing ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques within a supportive center-based environment. With exceptional supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team around you, you’ll make a real impact every day!

What You'll Be Doing as a Behavior Therapist:

• Apply ABA therapy principles one-on-one to assist children with Autism in reaching their potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, and implementing supervisor feedback.
• Support child development through engaging therapeutic activities catered to early childhood.
• Collaborate as part of a team to enhance treatment quality and ensure a fun working atmosphere.
• Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation, fostering a joyful atmosphere through activities like running, dancing, and singing.
• Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and advocate for personal needs.

Job Requirements:

• Lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs and maintaining physical engagement with young children.
• Maintain a conducive therapy environment , ensuring playspaces are tidy, organized, and stimulating.
• Multitask effectively, balancing actions and decisions while prioritizing safety for all involved.
• Support the team by working cohesively across locations as needed, which may involve travel to nearby centers.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

You will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which includes passing a 40-hour training curriculum and the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $16.20 - $23.50
• Bachelors: $17.50 - $27.00
• Masters: $19.00 - $28.00

Entry-level candidates will earn their first raise upon RBT certification, usually within 21 days.

Experience in the following fields is a plus:

• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, teacher, tutor, etc.)
• Mental health professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
• Degrees in teaching, special education, psychology, or related fields
• Experience as paraprofessionals or life skills assistants
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
