In our individualized ABA settings, you will work closely with children aged 18 months to 8 years, applying ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based atmosphere. As a Behavior Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their fullest potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and integrating supervisor feedback during sessions.
• Supporting children's development through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborating with team members to optimize treatment, uphold safety, and ensure a fun work experience throughout the center.
• Engaging with children through play, movement, and imitation, which may involve activities such as running, dancing, singing songs, reading books, watching videos, or playing with toys. Maintain high energy to actively engage in play and create a joyful environment.
• Communicating effectively and positively with stakeholders (including peers, families, and supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and advocate for needs.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move children in a dynamic environment , including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly on the floor to engage with young children while maintaining safety and order.
• Maintain a conducive therapy environment by ensuring play areas are tidy, organized, and stimulating for children.
• Multitasking skills to effectively balance actions, decisions, and conversations while prioritizing safety for everyone involved.
• Supporting team cohesion by working harmoniously with colleagues across the center, neighborhood, and region. This may involve travel to nearby centers as needed.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Successfully complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, a hands-on competency assessment, registering for the exam, and passing the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
• Bachelors: $20.00 - $25.50
• Masters: $20.00 - $28.00

For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.

Relevant Experience Preferred:

• Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.).
• Mental health professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians).
• Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
• Background as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants.
• A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• A strong desire to join a caring, team-oriented culture.
