In a 1:1 ABA setting, you will work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical, evidence-based techniques in a supportive center environment. As a Behavior Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing ABA therapy principles to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, implementing therapy, collecting data, writing notes for insurance, and applying feedback from supervisors.
- Supporting the development of young children through engaging and enjoyable activities.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to optimize treatment and create a safe, enjoyable work environment.
- Interacting with children through various activities like play, movement, and imitation, ensuring a joyful atmosphere.
- Communicating positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address needs.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift and engage with children , which includes lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to stay active with young children.
- Maintaining a conducive therapy environment by keeping playspaces organized and tidy, enhancing the children's experience.
- Multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks and decisions while prioritizing safety.
- Working cohesively with teams at the center and potentially traveling to nearby centers.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Minimum age of 18 with a High School diploma or GED required.
Successful completion of the RBT certification within 20 days of employment is mandatory.

Pay ranges based on experience and education:
- Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
- Bachelors: $20.00 - $25.50
- Masters: $20.00 - $28.00
For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience:
- Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, daycare, etc.).
- Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians).
- Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.
- Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
- Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants.
- Passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Eagerness to be part of a caring, team-oriented culture.
