As a Behavior Therapist, you will work closely with children aged 18 months to 8 years, applying evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. With top-notch supervision, ongoing training, and a supportive team, you will make a meaningful impact in their lives!

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA therapy principles to assist children with Autism, following treatment plans, collecting data, and applying supervisor feedback.
• Support child development through engaging and enjoyable activities tailored to early childhood.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance treatment effectiveness and safety while ensuring a joyful atmosphere.
• Engage with children through various activities, including play, movement, and creative games that spark their interests.
• Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate accomplishments.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Maintain organized therapy spaces to foster a stimulating and enjoyable experience for the children.
• Multitask effectively while prioritizing safety and well-being.
• Work cohesively with team members across centers as needed.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a High School diploma or GED.

You will be required to complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which includes training, assessment, and passing the examination.

Initial pay ranges based on experience and education:

• Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50
• Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00
• Masters: $16.00 - $26.00

Your first raise will come upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare experience (nanny, babysitter, tutor, etc.)
• Mental health and advocacy roles
• Volunteer and education roles (e.g., camp counselors, teachers)
• Degrees in special education, psychology, or related fields
• Genuine passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
