Position Purpose: Under general supervision, performs general maintenance and repair work in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and mechanical.

Essential Functions: (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for this position.)

1. Works with and trains under other engineers in the performance of daily job assignments, including basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repair as directed.
2. Operates in a safe manner power tools; welds materials.
3. Perform basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits, and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.
4. Perform basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washers and other minor parts; maintains and monitors plumbing systems.
5. Apply and prepare various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings.
6. Perform basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs, and shelves.
7. Repairs and maintains mechanical devices, motors, and pumps.
8. Keeps workshop orderly by cleaning tool boxes, putting away tools and parts, and straightening electrical storage area.
9. Installs and maintains all tile, marble floor materials, carpet, and carpet tiles.
10. Tours offices, and parking areas routinely to ensure adequate lighting in all areas; replaces lights throughout property as needed.
11. Complete preventative maintenance tasks including air conditioning units and filters, lighting and electrical, toilets and plumbing.
12. Maintain swimming pool and keeps log to document regular PH/chlorine testing.
13. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite, and be knowledgeable about building management systems.
• Must be experienced in one or more of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC.
• Must be able to bend, lift, push, and pull equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.

These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and 2 years related experience or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
