Engineer Associate

Our client, an electrical utility company, is seeking an Engineer Associate to join their team. As an Engineer Associate, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various projects related to Electrical Distribution System Improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Engineer Associate
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Pay Range: Up to $27.85/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
What's the Job?

• Perform engineering studies and detailed scoping for projects related to Electrical Distribution System Improvements.
• Assist higher-level engineers in analyzing well-defined portions of complex problems.
• Coordinate work activities to resolve routine engineering tasks.
• Provide input to project planning documents and monitor project status.
• Prepare reports and technical papers, communicating findings effectively.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Willingness to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering examination.
• Basic understanding of engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong initiative in seeking out information and presenting new ideas.
