JOB SUMMARY:
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential clinical care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role typically includes working a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, encompassing 12-hour weekday shifts and every other weekend. PRN staff will be scheduled as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are integral to this position:

• Warmly greet patients upon arrival and guide them through the process.
• Maintain open communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps.
• Address patient concerns and identify when to seek assistance in emergency situations.
• Make timely follow-up calls to patients.
• Support front desk operations with patient check-in and check-out as needed.
• Accurately obtain and document vital signs, health histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Complete required documentation associated with patient visits.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certificate or relevant experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• BLS Certification
