Endoscopy Technician Position

Location: 2800 Marcus Ave, New Hyde Park, NY 11042

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-quality patient care as an integral member of our clinical team.
• Set up and sanitize rooms and equipment before and after procedures.
• Ensure proper equipment functionality and conduct safety checks.
• Maintain strict hygiene protocols for all medical equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and documentation.
• Support patient intake, transport, and recordkeeping.
• Monitor vital signs by placing necessary devices on patients.
• Facilitate training sessions regarding equipment usage for staff.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training opportunities.
• Provide pre-visit planning and follow-up with patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with patients.
• Experience in a medical office setting for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with medical equipment for over a year.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
