Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Here's What You Need

n
• n

  High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  n
n
• n

  1 year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred

  n
n
• n

  CNA - Certified Nurse Aide preferred upon hire or

  n
n
• n

  MA - Medical Assistant preferred upon hire or

  n
n
• n

  EMT - Emergency Medical Technician preferred upon hire and

  n
n
• n

  BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly

  n
n
• n

  Detailed oriented and good organizational skills

  n
n

What You Will Do

n
• Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures
n

Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient.

n
• Professional Accountability
n

Communicates with the manager or educator for unit if any delay or problems exist.

n
• Teamwork/Partnership
n

Demonstrates teamwork and partnership in delivering care in the GI Lab.

n
• Infection Control / Safety Measures
n

Follows all safety measures/infection control measures throughout duties assigned.

Operates automatic scope washers and understands the principles of high level disinfection.

n
• Age Specific/Developmental Guidelines
n

Performs duties using developmental considerations for age specific to GI Lab.
