We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Litigation Senior Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing top-notch legal services to our diverse clientele. As a Senior Associate, you will be at the forefront of our employment litigation practice, handling complex cases and providing strategic advice to a broad range of clients. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a deep understanding of employment law, strong litigation skills, and a passion for advocacy.
Responsibilities

• Act as lead counsel on a wide range of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims.
• Conduct thorough and effective legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
• Provide proactive legal advice and guidance to clients to help them avoid potential legal issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and their legal needs.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a high level of client service.
• Stay up-to-date on current employment laws and regulations, as well as industry trends, to provide accurate and effective legal advice.
• Participate in business development efforts, including networking events, client seminars, and proposal development.
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be an active member in good standing with the state bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, with a focus on defense.
• Proven track record of successfully litigating employment cases, including trial experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft complex legal documents.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and work collaboratively with a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.
