Gpac (Growing People & Companies) is a national search firm that specializes in the placement of legal professionals in positions across the nation. We have been retained by a prominent mid-size law firm to search for an Employee Benefits Attorney to join their practice.

Location: Rochester, Buffalo, or Albany, NY (Remote arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis)

About the Opportunity: A highly respected firm seeks a mid-to-senior level Employee Benefits Attorney with 4-10 years of experience to join its Rochester, Buffalo, or Albany office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic legal team and make a significant impact in Employee Benefits law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on all areas of Employee Benefits, including ERISA compliance and the design, establishment, maintenance, and operation of retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans.
• Assisting clients with compliance under federal and state employee benefits laws and regulations.
• Providing strategic counsel on employee benefits issues during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Drafting plan documents, policies, and procedures to meet legal and operational requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum of 4-10 years practicing Employee Benefits law.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERISA and other relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused environment.
• Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in New York, with a strong academic background.
