Locums Emergency Medicine in Pomeroy, OH where Outpatient Coverage with no call is needed. Here are some of the details:

Start Date: ASAP-3-4 months

Shift times: Varies

• 8a-8p, 8p-8a

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified (if ABIM or ABFM - r equire EM credentials and recent experience ) - REQUIRED
• Must have minimum 2 years experience in EM (will be checking for this on presentations) - REQUIRED
• OH License - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS - Current at time of submission- REQUIRED
• If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS- REQUIRED
• Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions

Practice Description:

• Ideally provide coverage for up to 7-10 shifts per month consistently for the next 3-4 months
• Annual volume 30,000
• Coverage for 3 sites
• Free-standing ED that sees between 25-35 patients a day on average.
• Physicians do not handle admissions, those are handled by the Hospitalist team once the patient arrives at the main site.
• Traumas transferred to a tertiary center for trauma evaluation.
• APP s available for coverage
• Each provider manages their own documentation.
• Duties: Routine ER Duties, codes
