Emergency Medicine Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to work locum shifts in Bowling Green, Kentucky (KY). Starting in May 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. Estimated 39k Annual ER Volume.

The Emergency Medicine role:

• Emergency Medicine locum role - manage hospitalized patients, write daily notes in EPIC (no copy/paste forward), participate in daily huddles, answer CDI queries, and round with nurses.
• Be part of the CODE BLUE and rapid response team.
• No procedures required.
• Support staff includes weekday APPs and remote admin support (on-site typically once per week).

Requirements of the Emergency Medicine role:

• KY state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• KY State DEA
• BLS, ACLS
