Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to work locum shifts in Bowling Green, Kentucky (KY). Starting in May 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. Estimated 39k Annual ER Volume.
The Emergency Medicine role:
- Emergency Medicine locum role - manage hospitalized patients, write daily notes in EPIC (no copy/paste forward), participate in daily huddles, answer CDI queries, and round with nurses.
- Be part of the CODE BLUE and rapid response team.
- No procedures required.
- Support staff includes weekday APPs and remote admin support (on-site typically once per week).
Requirements of the Emergency Medicine role:
- KY state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- KY State DEA
- BLS, ACLS
