Center Medical Specialist

We are actively seeking a qualified EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, LVN, or LPN for our Plasma Donation Center!

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor suitability.
• Foster rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain donor and staff confidentiality.
• Educate donors about potential hazards and manage adverse events.
• Provide guidance on general health and unacceptable test results.
• Evaluate any history of illness or medications to ensure ongoing donor suitability.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Oversee the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Job Requirements:

Valid certification or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT in the state of employment, along with current CPR certification.

Desired Attributes:

• Ability to stand and sit for 2 to 4 hours daily.
• Capability to bend and twist neck for 1 to 2 hours daily.
• Frequent hand movement and precise coordination.
• Light lifting of 15 lbs; maximum lift of 50 lbs.
• Essential hearing acuity for communication.
• Ability to understand and present information clearly.
• Capacity to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and conditions.
• Experience handling sensitive information in a diverse environment.
