Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic

Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills with medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and updates on care being provided.
• Lead a Paramedic team by managing scenes and units as necessary.
• Drive the ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Engage in community programs to foster strong community relations and maintain our organization’s positive image.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Current State Driver's License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS certifications (PHTLS required).
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare.
