Electronics Technician III

Our client, a leader in electronics and test systems support, is seeking an Electronics Technician III to join their team. As an Electronics Technician III , you will be part of the CSE Controls Lab operations supporting night shift activities. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electronics Technician III

Location: Columbus, IN

Pay Range: $21-$26.50/hr.

Shift: Initially (for 1-2 months) the employee will workdays (8AM to 7PM EST - Flexible schedule but an 8-hour shift) to get familiar with test systems, processes, teams, and lab operations. After that, the employee will work night shift (11PM -7AM EST)

What's the Job?

• Support night shift operations in troubleshooting and maintaining test systems and lab equipment

• Perform hardware setup, maintenance, and calibration of test environments

• Modify and develop test hardware, including wiring harnesses and peripheral connections

• Manage system configuration documentation and ensure software support items are installed

• Assist with daily lab support, troubleshooting guides, and continuous improvement projects

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a technician or in a similar role

• Proficiency in electronic circuits and troubleshooting systems

• Experience with electronic tools and data measurement systems

• Ability to work on-site in Columbus, IN, with flexibility during initial training period
