Electro-Mechanical Assembler Shift 1/Shift 2

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team.

• This position focuses on the assembly of advanced semiconductor equipment and offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in the semiconductor industry.

• Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and a particular interest or background in plumbing and tubing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems for semiconductor tools, including tubing, plumbing, wiring, and structural parts.

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to execute builds accurately.

• Install and fit tubing and piping systems using appropriate tools and techniques (cutting, bending, fitting).

• Perform electrical assembly including wiring, soldering, and harness installation.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools to fasten components, as well as measuring instruments like calipers, torque wrenches, or micrometers.

• Inspect assembled components for proper alignment, fit, and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly progress and completion.

• Adhere to safety and cleanroom protocols where applicable.

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and fellow assemblers to resolve build issues or improve processes.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of related mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience (academic or internship experience may be considered).

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Familiarity or strong interest in tubing, piping, or plumbing assembly.

• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and standard fasteners.

• Basic computer proficiency for logging build data and progress.
