Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. This includes working with various types of conduit, handling high-voltage electrical systems, and ensuring the efficient distribution of power.

Responsibilities

  Bend conduits ranging from 1/2" to 4" (EMT, IMC, and others).

  n

• n

  Work with 480V electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• n

  Ensure efficient and safe distribution of electrical power throughout the facility.

• n

  Install, maintain, and repair industrial electric controls, including PLCs, motor controls, and other automated systems.

  n
n
• n

  Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

  n

• n

  Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

  n
n
• n

  Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using testing equipment and hand tools.

  n

• n

  Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches and moving heavy objects.

  n
n
• n

  Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated areas.

  n
n

Essential Skills

• n

  Proficiency in conduit bending and working with industrial environments.

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

  n
n
• n

  Experience with industrial, blueprint, and construction tasks.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to perform electrical wiring and diagnostics.

  n
n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• n

  Experience in conduit bending from 1/2" to 4".

  Experience with 480V electrical systems.

  Skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electric controls.

Work Environment

This role operates within an industrial setting, including environments such as chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, waste water facilities, fueling systems, and agricultural services.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winfield, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
