Job Description

Join our team in manufacturing high-quality blow molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards while building and manufacturing items according to detailed drawings and bills of material. Your role will include maintaining and repairing building equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and operating power and material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing issues and address material shortages. Develop specifications from general descriptions and create sketches of parts or products to be manufactured. You will also be responsible for submitting daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork, as well as assisting with employee training and supporting other departments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture blow molding machinery and sub-assemblies with precision.

• Comply with OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards.

• Build items according to drawings and production standards.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on building equipment.

• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to solve manufacturing challenges.

• Develop specifications and sketches for manufacturing.

• Submit daily time accounting and payroll information.

• Assist with training and support other departments.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of electrical experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

• Proficient in machine startup, checkout, and troubleshooting.

• Skilled in wiring sub-assemblies and machine assemblies.

• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics.

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Must possess personal hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work with metric and standard inch systems.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud, requiring the use of personal protective equipment. Work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with voluntary overtime available.
