Principal Responsibilities

• This position entails physical activity in a food processing environment, requiring a moderate level of exertion including bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Work in various conditions including heat and humidity, and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Implement automation solutions for plant processes, and engage in design and configuration of control systems.
• Develop and execute effective control strategies using current industry standards and approved components.
• Collaborate with support teams to enhance reliability and efficiency while providing training on completed projects.

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting various electrical or instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Cargill.
• Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Comprehension of production processes.
• Experience programming various control systems including PLC and HMI.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and scheduling.
• Automation and Instrumentation experience, especially with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.
• Familiarity with digital business technologies for plants.
