Electrician (Maring/Shipyard)

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. This role requires expertise in reading and interpreting work specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex problems on electrical equipment and systems, as well as writing reports and ordering materials.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Report any abnormal conditions, whether safety or mechanical.
• Troubleshoot complex problems on electrical equipment and systems.
• Run cabling into ships without performing pin connectorization or live terminations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a marine electrician
• Experience in repairing and refurbishing electrical lighting systems, communications systems, and other systems aboard ships.
• Knowledge of basic electrical theory and how electricity works.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
