Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Title

Electrical component design: Assist in the design and development of motor drives, valve controllers, electronic control units and associated wire harnesses for defense applications.

Testing and characterization: Support the testing and characterization of components using power supplies, power analyzers oscilloscopes, and signal generators.

Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, layout files, test plans, and reports, for PCB designs and testing activities.

Software Tools: Ability to work with MATLAB, Simulink, Altium and SolidWorks Electrical to facilitate the design of electrical components.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.

Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues during design, testing, and integration phases, proposing and implementing effective solutions.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in engineering and defense-related technologies.

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Baton Rouge, LA.
