Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator with proven experience in bidding large-scale hyperscale data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and estimating for mission-critical environments, particularly within the data center sector. This role is pivotal in supporting our preconstruction efforts and securing high-value projects in the Washington, DC metro area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for hyperscale data center projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Participate in bid reviews and presentations with senior leadership.
• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, labor rates, and material pricing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on data centers.
• Demonstrated success in bidding hyperscale data center projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Preferred :

• Experience working with top-tier electrical contractors.
• Familiarity with design-build and fast-track project delivery methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
