Electronics Technician

We are seeking a versatile electronics technician to assist in creating innovative solutions for a diverse range of products. As a member of our design and development engineering team, you will be responsible for prototyping, testing, debugging, and repairing electronic subassemblies.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototype designs and coordinate prototype builds from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Identify and procure components, supplies, and lab equipment.
• Coordinate calibration of lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronics assemblies.
• Test products and document test results.
• Work with production suppliers to assist in the transfer of designs to production.

Education and Experience

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology. Minimum of 3 years' experience in an electronics technician position. Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail. Ability to solder and assemble circuit boards and cable assemblies. Demonstrated ability to use electronics test equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with methods of mechanical component fabrication. Experience working in a medical device quality system is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
