Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  Participate in planning-level aviation assignments

  n

• n

  Perform electrical engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting

  n
n
• n

  Prepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects

  n
n
• n

  Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team

  n
n
• n

  Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals

  n
n
• n

  Attend site visits to perform engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities

  n
n
• n

  Attend and participate in design team and client meetings

  n
n
• n

  Attend industry-level training and collaboration events

  n
n
• n

  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  n
n
• n

  Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

  n
n
• n

  Registered Professional Engineer

  n
n
• n

  Airfield lighting and power distribution experience

  n
n
• n

  Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledge

  n
n
• n

  United States Citizenship

  n
n

Ideally, you'll also have

  A passion for aviation

  n

• n

  Unified Facility Criteria and Unified Facility Guide Specification experience

  n

• n

  Familiarity or experience with design and analysis software such as SKM, AGi32, Revit, and ArcGIS
