Electrical Engineer for Critical Infrastructure

As a key member of the Amazon Critical Infrastructure team, you will be integral to ensuring the optimal operation and enhancement of AWS Data Centers. Your primary focus will be on providing full life-cycle support—from design inception to site improvement and ongoing maintenance. You will become the go-to engineering resource for your region, leveraging your expertise to drive solutions and ensure reliability.

In this role, you will:

• Troubleshoot effectively, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site or equipment failures.
• Support operational issues through ad-hoc training and complex operating procedure reviews.
• Lead the conceptual design for upgrading data centers to enhance capacity, availability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to maintain consistency and reliability in service delivery.
• Innovate solutions tailored to AWS's evolving needs.
• Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographic areas.
• Initiate and conduct engineering audits, producing reports that outline risks with recommended mitigations.
• Act as a resident engineer throughout new construction initiatives, providing support during commissioning and turnover.
