This associate-level design engineering position offers a variety of challenging opportunities in Electrical Engineering and will provide an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

  Support electrical design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design teams tackling the most difficult aspects of nuclear material handling and nuclear waste cleanup and processing

  n

• n

  Under supervision, responsible for the production of engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports

  n
n
• n

  Apply electrical engineering principles to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components

  n
n

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen; Dual citizenship with a country other than the U.S. does not qualify.

Essential skills and experience:

• n

  Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance

  n
n
• n

  BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

  n
n
• n

  3+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering in a nuclear environment (DOE preferred, commercial, or Navy)

  n

• n

  Self-motivated, have a strong willingness to learn, be able to work independently as well as with a multi-disciplined team, and have excellent organizational and communication skills

  n
n

Valued but not required skills and experience:

n
• n

  A P.E. license, preferably in the state of Tennessee

  n
n
• n

  Familiarity with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools

  n
n

Compensation Range

$72,690.00 - $106,250.00
