Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for embedded systems development, sensor technology, and low-level analog signal processing, including analog-to-digital conversion and handling measurements in noisy environments. You will also be involved in PCB layout for AC and DC signal integrity and ensure designs comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design embedded systems and sensor technology solutions.
• Perform low-level analog signal processing and analog-to-digital conversion.
• Conduct low-level analog measurements in the presence of noise.
• Design and layout PCBs for AC and DC signal integrity and EMC compliance.
• Integrate electromechanical designs and conduct system integration testing.
• Conduct circuit design ensuring EMC compliance.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a preference for 5+ years.
• Proficiency in electrical design, including both analog and digital circuits.
• Experience in design for manufacturing and schematic design.
• Expertise in embedded systems and using tools like Cadence and Altium.
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems and related requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis.
• Ability to design and implement circuit testing throughout the product development lifecycle.

Work Environment

This role is based at the headquarter office in Loveland, Colorado, offering a vibrant and collaborative work environment with a new R&D facility. The company provides relocation assistance and operates on summer hours with a 4-day workweek, Monday to Thursday, and a flexible 4-hour workday on Friday. The team enjoys a strong culture with no turnover in over three years.

This is a Permanent position based out of Loveland, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
