Electrical Design Engineer

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a role with a partnering company, located near Duluth, Georgia. This firm needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting design, and other low-voltage applications.

Employment Type: Temp to Perm Expected Pay Range: $32 to $38 per hour, based on experience, prior to conversion Location: Duluth, Georgia

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 3 plus years of power and lighting design for commercial projects
• Able to handle multiple projects at the same time
• AutoCAD Proficiency
• Revit Experience

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:

• Electrical designs will include power distribution, lighting and lighting controls systems, and various low voltage systems.
• Candidate experience should include some familiarity with design of power and lighting for commercial projects.
• Preparing CAD/REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications.
• Performing submittal/shop drawing reviews and production
• Meetings/webinars with clients to coordinate designs.
• Meeting with vendors to specify appropriate equipment.
• Managing and delivering revisions
• Responding to RFI's
• Conducting construction site reviews (as required)
