Electrical Apprentice

Electrical Technician In Grenada, MS

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels by reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required.
• Perform testing requirements, including pressure tests, evacuation and charging, refrigeration performance testing, electrical component testing, and mechanical/electrical installations.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
