EHS Specialist

Our client, a leading manufacturer in a dynamic production environment, is seeking an EHS Technician to join their team.
As an EHS Technician, you will be part of the Environmental Health & Safety department supporting site-wide safety and compliance initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, technical attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: $24-$27/hr
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

What’s the Job?

• Assist in developing and implementing machine risk assessments
• Evaluate minor servicing exceptions to lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures
• Support creation and maintenance of site EHS operating procedures
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and operators to understand equipment and operations
• Contribute to EHS programs, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147
• LOTO authorized employee training (preferred)
• Experience with machine risk assessments and minor servicing exceptions
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a technical setting
