EHS Coordinator

Your Responsibilities:

• Support team members and leadership in identifying workplace hazards, incident reporting and investigations, and developing a comprehensive safety program.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA General Industry Standards and align with West Fraser's safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations in accordance with West Fraser Standards.
• Conduct EH&S training sessions for all team members to foster a safe working environment.
• Track and report on our progress in achieving EH&S targets and objectives.
• Manage timely reporting and meticulous recordkeeping for EH&S activities.
• Provide first aid and triage assistance in case of injuries involving team members or contractors.
• Contribute to the health screening process and health education initiatives, including OSHA recordkeeping and hearing conservation measures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven EH&S experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of implementing successful EH&S programs.
• Strong presentation and training capabilities for team members.
• A proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and effective leadership skills.
• Ability to build and nurture strong teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office software.
