EEG Technologist (Indianapolis)

Job Title: EEG Tech Intraoperative Neuromonitoring

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift:4X10 -hours

Schedule: Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and intraoperative EEG and evoked potential studies.
• Set up, calibrate, and apply electrodes in accordance with ABRET standards.
• Monitor, record, and analyze neurophysiological data during surgeries.
• Communicate significant changes in patient data to the surgical team in real time.
• Document findings accurately within the charting system (Cerner preferred).
• Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide patient preparation, education, and reassurance before procedures.
• Rotate in on-call coverage (evenings and weekends as assigned).
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to support best patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies for safety, infection control, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in EEG/IONM
• ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists)
• CNIM (Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring)
• R.EPT. (Registered Evoked Potential Technologist) preferred
