The Echo-Vascular Technologist will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities include creating a calming environment to facilitate effective examinations for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Communicate procedures and process effectively to patients.
• Position imaging equipment, determine suitable exposure factors, and adjust controls to produce accurate images.
• Implement radiation protection measures to safeguard patients and staff.
• Conduct Transthoracic Echocardiographic examinations and various vascular studies, including carotids, lower extremity duplex scans, abdominal aorta, and renal artery Doppler assessments.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis and generate preliminary reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound school.
• RDCS/RCS certification.
• Current license or temporary permit to practice in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Ultrasound.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to travel between offices as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RVS/RVT certification.

Physical Qualifications:

• Good physical health to meet the ergonomic demands of the role.

Here at Optum, pay is determined by several factors like local labor markets and experience level. We offer an hourly wage ranging from $28.27 to $50.48 for full-time employment, along with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, recognition programs, and a robust 401k plan (subject to eligibility).
