Echo-Vascular Technologist

Optum is seeking an Echo-Vascular Technologist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work within a clinician-led care organization that is innovating healthcare delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Explaining procedures and processes to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
• Adjusting imaging equipment as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Implementing radiation protection techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Conducting Transthoracic Echocardiographic examinations.
• Performing vascular studies such as carotid, lower extremity arterial, venous duplex for insufficiency, abdominal aorta, and renal artery Doppler.
• Providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of data and creating preliminary reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited school of Ultrasound.
• Current RDCS/RCS and RVS/RVT certifications.
• A license or temporary permit to practice in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Ultrasound.
• The ability to work independently and travel between different office locations.

Physical qualifications must meet the ergonomic standards required for this position.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $29 to $56 per hour based on experience, education, and local market factors, along with a sign-on bonus of $5,000!
